The Northern Illinois Airshow Directors hope you and your family are well and practicing safe isolated living to the maximum extent possible. To the medical, public service, military and essential service workers who leave their homes to protect and sustain the rest of us, you are the heroes in this difficult time and we salute you. When things get difficult Americans put aside their differences and unite to fight a common enemy. We see that happening right now. We are America Strong and we will get through this.

Plans are moving forward to make possible our September 12th Airshow. We hope our sponsors will be able to continue their support as well. When this is over, and it will be, we will all appreciate and celebrate the freedoms we will no longer take for granted and the great country we live in. These positive feelings would be most welcome after these difficult times. We will, of course, stand down the show this year if there is any chance that there is a public danger in gathering after Labor Day.

In the meantime we will try and post some pictures and a video or two to "elevate" your spirits!
